I trace and paint the soles of my shoes, the Bronx Wedge from Spring 2006, and as the image extends beyond the paper's edges, I realize that I am now in a new terrain. Stomping my feet, I depress my mark on the paper using my body's weight. I am no longer walking in a circle, and in my hand, the brush is replaced by a bull whip.
